Red spilled into the transparent blue,

my lungs hauled out by a hook.

Quickly oxidizing my newly-exposed flesh,

the air engulfed me rapaciously as their eyes.

My lungs hauled out by a metal hook,

my eyes fiercely trampled by their boots.

The air engulfed my flesh rapaciously as their eyes,

deep down was an abyss never to be satisfied.

Boots fiercely trampled my eyes,

They threw me into an ice cage where my soul trembled.

Deep down was an abyss never to be satisfied,

Not with my flesh, nor with the water-worn cash.

My soul trembled when ice permeated my skin,

the white hat with a knife peeled me slice by slice.

Sold my flesh, exchanged water-worn cash,

what a beauty, gasped their red lips.

Through my body a knife, slice by slice,

molded the lustrous display on white china plates.

what a dish, gasped their blood-colored lips,

but not anymore, frowned their blue eyes.

The lustrous display on white china plates,

the same oxidized flesh in dazzling waste bins.

Not anymore, dismissed their blue eyes,

so they smiled, bowed, and removed.

My oxidized flesh in dazzling waste bins,

my soul greeted the old friends resting beside me.

Smiled them, bowed, and removed

us from the lustrous dishes into the familiar saltiness.

My soul greeted the old friends floating around me,

we were back again into the childhood coral reefs.

The familiar saltiness instantly surrounded my soul,

Our red spilled once again into the transparent blue.
